The natural environment includes all living and non-living things that occur naturally. Environmental pollution is the unwarranted discharge of mass or energy into the earth's natural resource pool, such as water, land, or air, which causes long- or short-term harm to the atmosphere and its ecological health, negatively impacting living beings and their lives quantitatively and qualitatively. Tourism activities will have a negative impact on the environment. This is because, deforestation to open up tourist areas such as building chalets, roads, recreational parks have resulted in the extinction of various valuable trees found along the river. Quantitative methods were selected to facilitate research and study of the environmental impact of tourism. Quantitative approaches help gather data from respondents by collecting data through survey questions and Google Forms. This study focused on natural environment in Sedim River, Kedah, Malaysia. Sewage from the chalets dumped into the river has polluted the river water as well as destroyed the river habitat.en_US
