Overall research design included of data observation, issue analyzation and formulation of interior product design. The researchers applied predictive research methodology in order to collect the data. Secondary data observation was employed by the researchers to gather study materials. Researchers discovered that one of Malaysia's biggest pollution problems is waste from the garment industry. Klothes Cares is a method of upcycling that’s applied five (5) “R” principles for fabric upcycling which are rethink, reduce, reuse, repurpose and recycle. The researchers thought that the best way to fix the problem was to make useful interior product out of the waste from the fashion industry (recycle clothing’s). The interior products produce out of fashion waste is a sofa, moveable divider and rugs. It is possible to lessen the pollution produced by the fashion industry by creating a useful interior product from fashion waste, or "green product." |
