dc.description.abstractMost rural houses in Malaysia are constructed from less durable materials and are poorly ventilated and lighted. Urban houses are also very much crowded and lack the basic sanitation facilities. The situation is worsened by the unplanned urbanization and rapid population growth. The aim of this research is therefore to highlight the issues that affect the construction of houses which relate to healthy environments. Thus, this is lead to healthier life style and also give more benefit to the homeowners. The results of this research can help decision makers to identify major issues construction of houses and build environmentally friendly construction plans in the early stages of construction.en_US
