Abstract:
This systematic literature review aims to provide a comprehensive and structured analysis of the current state of digital transformation in construction management, focusing on integratingdigital technologies. The construction industry is significantly impacted by Industry 4.0, transforming buildings into complex productions through innovative technologies. This study seeks to evaluate the adoption and impact of digital transformation within construction management by employing a methodology based on descriptive and the PRISMA protocol; 309 papers published between 2021 and 2025 from Scopus and Science Direct were retrieved and analysed. The descriptive analysis highlighted the increase in publications over the years, distribution of papers by country, and the content focus of the publicationsconducted using Excel and meta-syntheses, examined keyword co-occurrence, country-based publications, sources, and citations. Findings indicate a growing interest in digitaltechnologies in construction management, with a notable emphasis on building information modelling(BIM). This review underscores the need for further research on the potential applications of digital transformationin construction management beyond architectural design. The results these technologies' importancein enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in construction projects.
