Biography
Azahah Abu Hassan Shaari is as a Lecturer at the Faculty of Language Studies and Human Development, Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, Malaysia. Her research interests are substance use disorder (SUD) with a specific focus on contextual understanding on narrative of people in recovery from SUD, both in the United States and Malaysia. Dr. Abu Hassan Shaari is also examining the effectiveness of healthy relationship-focused education interventions to prevent the perpetrations of dating violence among at-risk youth in New York City.
